Package: update-manager-gnome
Version: 0.200.0~rc4-1
Severity: important

run: gksudo update-manager

Prompted for password:
-> enter password

GUI popup:
Upgrading may require removal or installation of new packages.
Do you want to perform a safe-upgrade, which does not remove packages or
install new ones

-> click No

[then 'Install Updates' button is greyed out, until you deselect, then
reselect any package
in the 'Distribution Updates' list - see bug #551464]

Results in a GUI pop up consisting of:

"A fatal error has been detected in update-manager.
Do you want to submit a bug report?
Selecting No will close the application."

(clicking 'Yes' proceedes as expected)

Desired Results:
run: gksudo update-manager

Prompted for password:
-> enter password

click 'Install Updates'

Updates Installed

(this seems similiar to bug #547329, but I wouldn't call this a 'crash'
per-se)
