Package: gnome-keyring
Version: 2.30.0-2
Severity: normal
The manual page is spartan:
NAME
gnome-keyring-daemon - keep password and other secrets for users
DESCRIPTION
gnome-keyring-daemon is a daemon in the session, similar to ssh-agent, and other appli‐
cations can use it to store passwords and other sensitive information.
AUTHORS
gnome-keyring-daemon was written by Alexander Larsson <alexl at redhat.com> and others.
This manual page was written by Sven Arvidsson <sa at whiz.se>, for the Debian project
(but may be used by others).
SUGGESTION
Please extend the manual page to discuss:
- When is the program started, by whom?
- How it is called?
- What to do if password manager does not work (keep password, locked up),
what is the proper way to reset it?
- What files it uses (stores on disk)?
etc.
