Thanks for looking at libgda! I have some comments wrt your patch:

You didn't mention why you bumped these build dependencies in your changelog entry.

You don't need to document changelog changes in the changelog :-)

Are you sure this is correct? (And if it were, it wasn't documented in the 
changelog).
