So there is a feature lack that is a bug in itself. System admins should be 
free to choose either gdm or kdm, and their users (in non-fixed enterprise-
like environments) should be free to use either Gnome or KDE and still have 
switching users option available.

Should I open a new wishlist-category bug asking to add the support to session 
change?
