There's a discussion on the same issue on hamster's github page,
https://github.com/projecthamster/hamster/issues/46

In there, jarrodmoss <https://github.com/jarrodmoss> said

I have the same issue. Downgrading libcairo2 to the version in Precise

And I checked libcairo2 in debian. It seems next update will be version
1.12.14 and it is still in experimental at the time I'm composing the
email. So I guess there is a long time before it gets available in any
wheezy update. I live on hamster so I will try to figure out what I can do
to speed up the new integration.

Anyway, this issue needs to be moved to libcairo2's bucket.
