Bug#683394: nautilus: Thumbnails are created, but not displayed (nautilus loops over non-existing files in "~/.thumbnails/fail", causes also high CPU usage)

Nemo is nautilus' clone by the cinnamon project. Packages have been submitted
to unstable recently. I have installed both gnome 3.4 and cinnamon 1.6.7. I
checked, I don't have a single gnome 3.6 package.

I logged in using a brand new user in a gnome classic session, I launched
nautilus 3.4.2 with strace, and observed it trying to fetch thumbnails from
~/.cache/thumbnails, and creating them to ~/.thumbnails/normal.
~/.cache/thumbnails doesn't even exist.

Could some package from cinnamon change or overwrite some gnome configuration
parameter?
