Bug#743810: Visual artifacts in gnome shell activities view

Changing the desktop background (see my last comment) solves the problem
only when I use one monitor. When I use two monitors I can still
reproduce this bug. Again, I'll attach a screencast showing the problem.

The left monitor is my external display with a resolution of 1680x1050
px, the right one if my internal display with 1366x768 px.
