Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Any attempt to open the properties for a panel will result in
flickering/flashing of the context menu.  The menu flashes by so fast that it
is not possible to obtain the settings.  This is within a gnome-flashback
session using AMD Catalyst drivers from Debian's repo.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Holding the alt key and attempting to right-click on the menu results in the
menu flash.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Nothing.  As a user, I am unable to obtain the menu for the panel settings.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The context menu for the panel would stay until I released the right mouse
button, resulting in the ability to choose one of the options - including the
option to change preferences.
