Bug#767659: evince 3.14.1-1 gets undefined symbol with libpoppler46:i386 earlier than 0.26.5-2

Dear Maintainer,

I just upgraded evince from 3.14.0-2 to 3.14.1-1:
   2014-11-01 12:51:26 upgrade evince:i386 3.14.0-2 3.14.1-1

and consistently got the same error about an undefined symbol in libpoppler-glib.so.8 which made it unusable:

    => evince js-paper.pdf

    (evince:6432): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:102:18: Not using units is deprecated. Assuming 'px'.

    (evince:6432): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:102:20: Not using units is deprecated. Assuming 'px'.

    (evince:6432): EvinceDocument-WARNING **: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libpoppler-glib.so.8: undefined symbol: _ZN7GfxFont16getAlternateNameEPKc
    Segmentation fault

The problem was fixed by manually upgrading libpoppler46 from a minor version:
    2014-11-01 14:15:30 upgrade libpoppler46:i386 0.26.5-1 0.26.5-2

Perhaps this library is now needed as a dependency for evince 3.14.1-1 to install properly?
