Package: gnome-mines
Version: 1:3.14.1-2
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream
Dear Maintainer,
When clicking on squares in gnome-mines there is a fade-in effect for
revealing squares. There is no option to turn this off. On slower systems
this can cause the game to hang for a few seconds, if the player is fast at
playing minesweeper.
I have marked this as normal instead of minor because it can cause issues
with getting a fast score in minesweeper, which I think, all decent
minesweeper players would agree, is the whole point.
There needs to be an option to remove the fade-in so that those with slower
system can play the game properly. In previous builds of gnome-mines there
was no fade-in.
