GNOME without systemd

Hello,
I' m writing this email because I have problems with GNOME. I tried to
remove whole systemd from my Debian Jessie and I recompiled all packages
that directly depend on it. But after recompilation of GNOME packages (by a
standard way: apt-get source PACKAGE, then cd PACKAGE_DIRECTORY, removing
configuration options for systemd-based system in debian/rules and finally
dpkg-buildpackage). They build successfully, but after installation I can'
t log in to my system. The display shows the background, top panel and
that' s all. There aren' t any accounts shown and when I click on
accessibility menu (or another one) and after that I click on background it
does not hide (does this mean, that background isn' t refreshed ?).
Please help me with fixing this without installing any systemd packages,
because GNOME is my favourite and I really hate systemd.
Regards,
Tomek

P.S On a photo of my screen is described here issue (I couldn't make a
screenshot, so it' s blurred a bit). The calendar pop-up menu currently is
focused - other menus I focused before.
