few remarks about dbus-glib (and oldlibs)

Dear GNOME Team Maintainers,

I am sure that you know that dbus-glib is obsolete and deprecated
upstream[1].
I have reported a bug related to this fact on at-spi2-core[2] as I was
first trying to remove 'libdbus-glib-1-dev' on my sid/amd64 install to
do some clean compiles.

Then curiously I have tried to remove 'libdbus-glib-1-2' and there are
still many other packages (mostly GNOME 3.18 packages for my system)
concerned by this dependency. But I suspect that for some of them this
dependency is already unnecessary.

So my questions:

* Why do I see that dbus-lib is (oldlibs) only on that list[3a] and not
elsewhere for instances [3b]?

* Would not be useful that the PTS alerts that a package have such
(oldlibs) dependencies?

* Also Lintian does not notify this fact, for instance on gnome-
shell[3]. Not useful?

* Do I have to report the same kind of «bug» on all suspected packages?

Sorry for the noise if I am wrong or have bad eyes.

Sincerely,
Patrice
