Dear Maintainer,
I noticed the keyboard shortcut for showing bottom panel on gedit is
Ctrl + f9 from its keyboard shortcuts help window.
I hit the keyboard combination and noticed gedit showing the
side panel
The expected outcome is to show the bottom panel
