Package: gnome-shell-extension-prefs
Version: 40.5-1+b1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
Sometime between the first Sid release of verion 40.* of this extension
and the current version, it stopped working in Wayland. It has been
approximately 1 month since it stopped working. When I first upgraded
to 40.*, the new extensions app (since the split from tweaks) was working fine.
Today I decided to dig into it. Here is what I've tried:
- I am unable to test the experimental version 41.* on this machine because of
current critical bugs gnome-shell from the bug reports.
- Running 'journalctl -f' reveals no messages when trying to start the
extensions app from gui or commandline
- Trying to rule out user configs, I created a new user but extensions
app still did not load
- I switched from Wayland to X11 and extensions app works fine
- Changed back to Wayland and extensions app failed to work again
If you can't recreate the issue on Wayland, I'm happy to try other
suggestions you may have.
