Happy to sponsor buildbox when it's ready.
And, as I have said on personal chat that I will not be able to
sponsor buildstream as its team maintained and I am not part of the
team.
Also, jbicha is the uploader and is always present/active so I will
suggest you discuss with him first about the upgrade plan.
Looking at https://bugs.debian.org/1122504 I think he already has a plan.
