I have the backport available for review at mentors:
http://mentors.debian.net/package/gpgme1.0
I could upload this to the archive, but I have only done minimal
changes (as should be on a backport), and I haven't added myself to the
uploaders or anything like that.
What I have done is made sure that it is built with the backport of
gpg-error and not the stable version (which wont work), and made sure
the changelog includes the versions required for a backport.
