yes but it can be stopped by users or desactivated one or more 
runlevel.
I think it's best to ensure it's correctly started.
(the start-stop-daemon program will not start a new gdomap if one is 
already running)

It's not really a gnustep-session.
But it's a wmaker session (and windowmaker can save workspace state).
