Received, and I see nothing wrong with it.  The app starts (displaying
the generic GNUstep icon), and clicking on the only menu entry
terminates the application, as it should.

You mean you _cannot_ reach the menu again?  This is normal and
expected; click on the app icon to have the menu back.
