thanks for fleshing this out.

This was not the fine point I had been was trying to ask about, though. ;-)
- I was wondering why you suggested using a gnutls specific
profile ("pkg.gnutls28.noguile") while the BuildProfileSpec lists
"noguile" as registered profile name.

As a hotfix I plan to upload with noguile profile support (unless you
prefer "pkg.gnutls28.noguile"?) after -3 has migrated to testing. It
cannot hurt to keep this report open for a little bit of time, perhaps
we find a real solution.
