I think I closed in in May because I believed the package was otherwise
being looked after, and I've had nothing to do with it for years.
However, a look at tracker.debian.org suggests the only other uploader
was Michael Stapelberg who I believe has left Debian.

I recall the upstream maintainer, Dustin Kirkland, was interested in
working on the package, but I don't know if that's still the case.

I doubt it, but I'm not qualified to judge any more.

If nobody in the Debian Go Packaging Team is interested in it, it's
probably worth officially orphaning.
