Here I have a working version of the whole package chain, tying everything together as an example map: https://salsa.debian.org/xamanu/libapache2-mod-tile/-/commit/c63118d574ad9f418ba536396c13541cf714629e

I haven't pushed it, yet, because I'm not happy with the map style's license and there are some minor design issues. Using the OSM-carto style is not an option in my opinion (as long as it is not packaged in Debian), because it comes with too many additional data (shapefiles of countries of the world, long list of images used as icons on the map, etc.). I want this to be really slim. I'm going to look around for another style, or write a small one myself. Then this should be ready to go. I'm very excited to see it running locally already :)

Any thoughts from your side? Any blockers if you look at the proposal?

Thank you,
Felix
