I'm doing SGE 8.1.3 and the packaging together, if that's what you mean
by "release".  The release branch is missing some patches that were in
the snapshot the packaging was originally aimed at.

Actually, I've dealt with most of them now.  I'll push the results and
try to sort out a pre-release tarball to go with it in a while.  Is
there any chance to try building it on non-x86 arches?
