It doesn't sound right; I'll look at it when I get a chance.  I didn't
see such warnings, of course.  Presumably it's a deficiency in my
lintian.  I haven't tried running the built packages, by the way.

It should pick up the method I saw documented for package parallel
builds, and that seemed to work.  If it's not right, I guess some Debian
doc needs fixing, but I don't recall where I found it.
