It has an RC bug against it, which traps it Unstable so that it doesn't
get into any Debian release, but it is still in the archive.

I'm glad to read that. I hadn't prioritized working on the packaging
lately because I'm currently going through NM myself and thought I'd
wait a little for that rather than go searching for a sponsor when I had
something ready. I think it's safe to say that the original maintainers
have abandoned this package.

In any case, I think the package was pretty close to being ready (after
I address Dave's notes), but now this latest NMU has be merged into the
current packaging...
