Bug#496035: further follow-up

I've just found #496040, which seems to relate to the same problem. If I
comment out the /dev/fd0 line in /boot/grub/device.map the error no
longer appears. I'm afraid I don't know how or where to apply the
supplied patch and I don't know if it's OK to comment out the above line
permanently.
