Well for the reporter a grub-install run did help, probable you forgot
to do this, too.
No need to debug this, if that solves the problem.
MBR code and /boot/grub should always be synced.

If it still happens then add this after the `search --fs-uuid' line in
your menuentry.

	echo Press enter to continue
	read

Though I should have either already closed the report or reuse it to a
wishlist bug to make it more clear that people need to run grub-install
to update the real GRUB.
But this shouldn't happen normally, search command wasn't just recently
added, so it was already in grub.cfg before.
