Maybe but we don't have yet that much documentation like the full manual
of GRUB Legacy.

Colin Bennets theme code is only in the package uploaded to
experimental.
And then you still need to get from his site the theme files, because
licensing of some things used there isn't that clear and so we just
avoid all trouble by not shipping them.
But in the current version we even have a bug that even though we enable
gfxterm by default you need to make sure you run update-grub after
grub-install is run.
gfxterm though only always to use a background image and change the
resolution of GRUB.
