Bug#561855: grub-mkconfig: /usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for /.

Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.98~20091210-1

Hi,

I would be very grateful if update-grub wouldn't cause packages like
grub-pc and memtest86+ fail to install/configure when grub-probe cannot
find a device for /. The machine in question is booting from NFS and
serves as a master image for other machines that do indeed install grub2
onto their hard drives. So I'd have to divert update-grub only to
restore it on every machine which is a real one...

Kind regards,
Philipp Kern
