Bug#514263: thinks that my ext2 root filesystem is fat

IIRC the original partition layout of this machine was:

/dev/hda1 - small FAT partition containing dell utilities
/dev/hda2 - ubuntu

I deleted those partitions in d-i (lenny rc1), and made a single /dev/hda1 of
the whole disk, so its start would have been where that fat used to be.

This seems identical to #505137, so I think that bug was closed too
entusiastically..

BTW, if a before/after comparison of the partition would help, I have a
snapshot of the entire original disk squirreled away somewhere..
