Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.97~beta2-2
Severity: important

i just bit the bullet and took the update from grub-legacy. a big
THANK YOU for taking the time to set up the chain-loading test path
for upgrading, you saved me from an unbootable system :)

so now, when i chain-load into grub2, if i select the first kernel
available in the list i get the error:

error: you need to load the kernel first

if i go and edit the cmdline and try to boot with ctrl-x, i get a
different error:

error: cannot read the linux header

let me know if you need anything not included below.
