Sorry about that duplicate. I had checked grub-legacy as well as grub-pc, but
apparently that other report was reassigned to grub (which I didn't check,
since it's a dummy package...).

Why is this? The broken script is shipped with the grub-pc package? When
things break, grub-legacy is no longer around.
$ dpkg -L grub-pc| grep grub-legacy/update-grub
