Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.97~beta3-1
Severity: normal
Hello,
The migration dialog proposing to chainload grub2 from grub is not so
clear, and I fear a lot of users won't know what this means. I would
suggest integrating something like: "this means that grub legacy will
still started first at boot, with an additional grub2 entry allowing to
boot grub2 and check that the latter works as expected while still being
able to boot your system from the grub legacy menu. Once you have
checked that grub2 can indeed boot your system, you can run
upgrade-from-grub-legacy to completely replace grub legacy with grub2"
Also, it is not clear what saying "no" will do. Will it overwrite the
existing installation in the MBR or not?
