Alright, then I am reassigning this to the grub-pc package.

Collin, even if I purged the grub packages from my system, update-grub
is still referenced by the /etc/kernel-img.conf file, which has been
created by the installer. This leads to failure in the kernel package
configuration phase. Please remove these entries when the package is
removed, because this will also delete the update-grub script.

Cheers,
Fabian
