Bug#685274: grub doesn't wait for GRUB_TIMEOUT

Harald Dunkel harri at afaics.de
Sun Aug 19 08:09:53 UTC 2012

Package: grub-pc
Version: 1.99-22.1

Since I upgraded grub2 on my bootable USB stick it doesn't
wait for 5 seconds to show me the menu, but it boots the
first kernel right away.

If I press and hold the cursor down key while the boot is
still in the BIOS, then the menu is shown and I can select
the kernel to boot.

Attached you can find /etc/default/grub and the generated
grub.cfg file. Please mail if I can help to track this down.

Regards

Harri
