Bug#635545: There seems to be a difference in the info. file and the FAQ given in grub2-splashimages

Hi all,
There seems to be confusion and differences in the various files. If I
look in /etc/default/grub it tells me about info -f grub -n 'Simple
configuration'

$ cat /etc/default/grub | grep info
#   info -f grub -n 'Simple configuration'

If I use the info program and check the entry and seek about GRUB
Wallpaper or Background it shows this :-

`GRUB_BACKGROUND'
     Set a background image for use with the `gfxterm' graphical
     terminal.  The value of this option must be a file readable by
     GRUB at boot time, and it must end with `.png', `.tga', `.jpg', or
     `.jpeg'.  The image will be scaled if necessary to fit the screen.


And this works for grub 2.00-15 .

cat /etc/default/grub | grep GRUB_BACKGROUND
GRUB_BACKGROUND=/usr/share/images/grub/Apollo_17_The_Last_Moon_Shot_Edit1.tga

$ sudo update-grub
[sudo] password for shirish:
Generating grub.cfg ...
Found background: /usr/share/images/grub/Apollo_17_The_Last_Moon_Shot_Edit1.tga
Found background image:
/usr/share/images/grub/Apollo_17_The_Last_Moon_Shot_Edit1.tga
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10-2-amd64
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.10-2-amd64
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.10-1-amd64
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-3.10-1-amd64
done

while the FAQ says :-

1. How to change default GRUB2 splashimage?

  Change a line like

    WALLPAPER="/usr/share/images/..."

  to

    WALLPAPER="/boot/grub/splashimages/some_file.tga"

  in /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme and run update-grub.

and lastly I see in #613724 the WALLPAPER should be in
/usr/share/desktop-base/grub_background.sh

This is utter confusion. All the three documents should not be saying
three different things. It just confuses the user.

Looking forward to guidance.
