Bug#719311: grub2-splashimages: commons2tga.pl does not work

Dear Maintainer,
I tried to see if the commons25ga.pl works but unfortunately it doesn't.

root at debian:/usr/share/doc/grub2-splashimages# perl ./commons2tga.pl
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/46/Bohinjsko_jezero_2.jpg/800px-Bohinjsko_jezero_2.jpg
error: 404 Not Found

Any URL/URI given to it, it says 404 Not Found although I am able to
download the file easily via wget or via the browser without an issue.

Even if I download the image and move it to
/usr/share/doc/grub2-splashimages to see if the said image can be
converted, it still tries to go somewhere and give a 404 Not Found
error :(

Can somebody help ?

For info. using perl 5.14.2-21 if that makes any difference.
