Bug#926366: Allow /etc/default/grub.local.pre and .post

Package: grub-pc
Version: 2.02+dfsg1-16
Severity: wishlist

I am trying to get the "final word" in how these grub variables are
appended.

Can you please specify a files, e.g.,
/etc/default/grub.local.pre
/etc/default/grub.local.post
that are initially absent, and guaranteed never to be written by anybody else than the user.

I tried doing

$ cat /etc/default/grub
. /root/grub.local.sh #jidanni

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="panic=33 earlyprintk=vga video=SVIDEO-1:d"

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""

GRUB_TIMEOUT=11

But as you see, those three "helpful GRUB_" lines got pasted on the end
anyway.

The idea is I wouldn't have to modify any file of _yours_, but still get
_my_ customizations read.
