I'll note that these versions of grub2 are in Debian unstable's
Sources list ("deb.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_main_source_Sources"):
Package: grub2
Version: 2.06-2
...
Package: grub2
Version: 2.06-13+deb12u1
...
Package: grub2
Version: 2.12-5
...
Whatever the reason for *that* is, but it's how we got to this point.
