What is the proposed way of doing it? The current jetty packages are
available on unstable and jetty-5.0.0 will be available at mentors as
soon as i fixed some minor classpath issues with it.

Jetty comes with a test suite. I did not run it agains kaffe yet. Where
can I find the pre-1.1.5 version of kaffe?
