I've just done apt-get install tomcat4 on a clean Sid chroot and
everything is fine for me. I have a /var/lib/tomcat4 and the init.d
script says:
NAME=3Dtomcat4
CATALINA_HOME=3D/usr/share/$NAME
Can you please be sure you purge tomcat4, remove /etc/init.d/tomcat4 and
/etc/default/tomcat4 if they still exists, reinstall tomcat4 and send a
feeback.
If it's ok, can you close the bug. If it's not, can you write everything
you did.
Thanks
