Bug#1109882: libspring: update libspring to a currently supported version

Hello Emmanuel,

Please accept my apologies, it is not my place to accuse you of negligence; I simply wanted to highlight the importance of a necessary update.
I know that all the maintainers have a great deal on their plates, but I do consider the Spring Framework to be quite important.
We use it across many systems, but as a sysadmin with limited Java knowledge, I am unfortunately unable to assist the Java team.
