Those are the benefits of PET.  I am aware of those from d-perl (even if 
I don't use them much myself).

My question is what burden it adds.  I.e. why do you ask at all?  How do 
the use of PET restrain us, when creating gits and when using them?

Example: I believe that for PET to make sense, we should introduce the 
rule of hinting with suite "UNRELEASED" in topmost changelog section 
packages not ready for release.

Other rules and patterns implied by PET?  Do gits need to be created in 
a special way?  OTher things?
