With all reverse build dependencies rebuilt and bugs filed for those
fail, second phase of transition is over (first phase being able to
upload webpack itself in experimental).
- reverse-depends -b webpack showed 31 packages
- 4 packages rebuilt without errors
- node-rollup-plugin-alias new upstream switched to regular rollup and
new version uploaded to unstable
- 16 packages needed changes, some easy, some hard. These were uploaded
to experimental
- 2 packages were fixed and patch send to BTS
- 5 packages still need fixing. I have solved similar issues in other
packages so I think these will be easy to fix.
- 2 package failures are not solved yet.
- 1 package (rainloop) has new upstream release which support webpack 4.
So I need help with fixing build failure in node-trust-json-document and
node-react-audio-player.
I will continue fixing the 5 remaining packages in the coming days.
Since many fixes already used pkg-js-tools >= 0.8.6 auto install feature
already. I will wait for pkg-js-tools 0.8.6 upload to unstable before I
upload webpack 4 to unstable.
