[Pkg-javascript-devel] Uglify-js vs terser: plan for bullseye

Hi,

While updating webpack to 4.0, I came to know terser is a drop in replacement for uglify-js and uglify-es (both unmaintained now).

Should we target moving to a single minifier for bullseye?

Advantage is less maintenance (less number of packages to maintain) and it seems terser is in a better position compared to other minifier projects.

Comments?
