It is unclear if you use only Raspbian or a mix of Debian and Raspbian.

When you use Raspbian then better seek advice within the Raspbian 
community - because advice from the Debian community may or may not fit 
your system and only Raspbian community really know what fits and what 
does not.

When you use Debian then better to not mix with Raspbian.
