Great! Please go ahead with the upload to Debian.

Instead of referring to the Ubuntu PPA, could you always push to the
alioth git repository? For a prior review of the changes, you could
push to a personal branch such as ginggs/juliaX.Y.Z, which can be
deleted afterwards. (The upstream and pristine-tar branches are not
needed for review since we have debian/rules get-orig-source.)

The armhf build failed after switching from LLVM 3.7 to 3.8.

Since Julia 0.5.0 is planed for April, I would suggest to request the
removal of armel/armhf for the time being, unless you wish to debug
the “Illegal instruction” error.
