the udev package has now been installed through the host outside the
vserver to circumvent the restrictions of the maintainer scripts trying
to create device nodes no matter what. I've put all the failed
pkg-kde-extra sources back on needs-build, so we should see how far this
can take us. If you spot other errors, feel free to drop me another
pointer.
