Dear maintainers,

are there any plans to update digikam? At least in sid?

In sid only the "outdated" version 6.4.0 (released nov 9 2019) is
available.

digikam 7.1.0 was released sept 6 and digikam 7.0.0 was released jul 19
2020!!!

So even debian (sid) is really behind the cutting edge ;-)

As a photographer I routinely use digikam and would appreciate very much
having the newest version available.
