Package: plasma-applet-redshift-control
Version: 1.0.18+phabricator~2019080100-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: funatkis at posteo.de

Dear Maintainer,

when I start a new KDE-session, the session will "hang" for more than 1 minute,
before the UI allows me to f.i. start Dolphin or VLC.
My assumption is, that KDE has to wait until redshift-applet has given up to
find a geolocation provider and thus prevents UI-interaction.
It is pretty much the same, when I want to change the settings of the applet
when I click on "advanced". In this situation it also takes more
than 1 minute, before the window responses. Until it does, I can not do
anything in this particular window. I file a separate bug report for this too.
