[Pkg-kde-extras] exiv2 needs symbols updated

Building with recent gcc fails due to symbols file issues; see 
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1012920

Can someone help?  I have no idea how to manipulate symbols files.
